Franklin County
Florida is located in the Panhandle of Florida about 100 miles
Southwest of Tallahassee, and 75 miles East of Panama City. Ours is
a temperate climate as you can see by the temperature chart at left.
Even in January,
our coldest month, most days are warm enough for a light jacket. It
is this temperate climate that attracts flocks of snowbirds each
winter when they fly South to find someplace warmer than home.
